Thrissur: The private bus operators said on Tuesday that they would observe a state-wide strike on November 20, demanding fare hike and better roads.
Talking to media after a joint meeting of various associations, the leaders of the Kerala State Private Bus Operators’ Federation demanded the government to frame a common transport policy for both private and state-owned bus operators.
Raising these demands, the outfit will launch Secretariat march on November 13, alongside holding dharnas at district headquarters on November 6.
The outfit might even consider indefinite strike after November 20 in case the government is inconsiderate to their demands.
