Thiruvananthapuram: Aiming at expanding its reach in grassroots, Navodhana Samrakhana Samiti has been expanded in a meeting presided by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
The forum gets new officials as well as a secretariat to steer its works, and the committee has decided to conduct meetings in all districts in November.
The Chief Minister would inaugurate its state level programme in Gandhi Park on November 1. Debates would be conducted in colleges on Renaissance values in December.
Meanwhile, the meeting decided to register the forum and set up office facility for it in Thiruvananthapuram.
The meeting elected Vallapally Natesan as president and Punnala Sreekumar as general secretary.
