Thiruvananthapuram:   Health Minister KK Shailaja said that relaxation in lockdown would be implemented according to the direction of the Centre.

The minister’s words came hours before the cabinet involving her is to make a decision regarding this on Monday.

Many believe that the state government might well relax strictures on strict conditions in place.

Although the number of patients was decreasing in the state, the state was not yet in a position to claim total relief, she said.

Getting COVID-19 under control in Kerala alone wouldn’t work; it should be regulated in the neighbouring states also.

She dubbed the report of zero cases in Kasaragod a good sign.
