Thiruvananthapuram: The state reported a recovery rate three times the confirmed cases, said the Chief Minister on Thursday, linking it to its preventive measures against the COVID-19.
Only 147 of the 394 confirmed cases are now under treatment. Those under observation have come down to 88,855, in which only 532 are observed in hospitals.
Of the17,400 samples, 16,459 tested negative. However, 7 more have been confirmed positive, while 27 recovered. Four persons in Kannur, two in Kozhikode and one in Kasaragod tested positive.
Five of them are gulf returnees and two got infected through contact. Of the recovered, 24 are from Kasaragod.
