BJP want to wreck communal harmony: Wilfred D'Costa

Wilfred D'

Kochi: Indian Social Action Forum (INSAF) National General Secretary Wilfred D'Costa said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wants to destroy communal harmony of the country and the party fabricated Love Jihad stories to that end.  Sanghparivar cannot tolerate the cordial relationship between Christians, Muslims and other communities.

They are trying to instigate hate and revenge after dividing and pitting them against each other. D'Costa was speaking while inaugurating a protest gathering titled 'Love Jihad: Politics of anti-Muslim lexicon' organized here by Solidarity Youth Movement. RSS aims to instill fear among the people through Islamophobia by fabricating Love Jihad narratives. They are trying to cast a community under suspicion.

As the investigation agencies and Union Home Minister said that there was nothing as Love Jihad, they have come up with another trick. They are prompting Christians to raise the allegation. D'Costa called to realize the move as a ploy to deviate the attention from the ongoing protests and economic crisis.

Solidarity State President Nahas Mala presided over the function.

Director KP Sasi, Indulekha Joseph, KK Baburaj, journalist Shabna Siyad, Shanavas, Jamaate Islami State Council member KA Yusuf Umeri, Kochi City president MP Faisal, Solidarity state secretary CA Noushad, city president Abdul Muees and others spoke.
