Kannur: The police on Thursday arrested the man who had a relationship with Sharanya accused of murdering her toddler son.
Nidhin had been under police observation following the death of one-and-a-half year-old Viyan.
He is reportedly admitted to the police of having visited Sharanay the day before the murder.
Earlier, Sharanya confessed that she had killed her son to live with her lover.
Police registered case against him on abetment to commit murder.
However, he reportedly said that he had not pressured Sharanya for the wedding or conspired to kill the child.
Viyan was found dead among the rocks on the beach at Thayyil in Kannur on February 17.
