Coronavirus: breath analyzer exempted from vehicle checking

Thiruvananthapuram: Police chief Lokanath Behera issued a directive against using breath analyzer in the wake of confirming three case of coronavirus infection in the state.

In suspected drunk-driving, drivers should be taken to medical exam instead of using breath analyzer on them, the directive said.

DGP also directed official to take actions against spreading misinformation on coronavirus on social media.

Meanwhile, as many as 2528 people in the state are under observation following confirmation of three case of infection.
