Thiruvananthapuram:  The government is set to open night life centres across the state, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in his weekly TV show.

District collectors have been tasked to find suitable locations for the same.

The chief minister had earlier declared that pubs would be opened for those who work late including IT employees, to unwind themselves.

Close on the heels, he made it clear that the government would open nightlife centres too.

Several places in the state are suitable for such centres, he said adding, techno park in Thiruvananthapuram is one of them.

All kinds of hotels and restaurants would remain open through night in these places, and security would be provided.
