Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has reiterated his stand about the arrests of two students, Allen Shuaib and Thaha Fazil, terming them as Maoists.

While speaking to the media here on Wednesday, the CM said that the youths were not innocent and they were not arrested while they were going for tea.

"The two of them are not party men, instead they are Maoists," Pinarayi had said in a very strong tone earlier.

He has reiterated his position clearly giving out a message to all his detractors, that his position from the beginning was right.

Students of law and journalism, Allen and Shuaib, both full time CPI-M workers, were arrested last month from their home town in Kozhikode, after the police allegedly recovered from them leaflets that supported the Maoists movement besides condemning the Union government's action in Jammu and Kashmir.
