Kozhikode: The Calicut University Syndicate at a meeting held here on Wednesday passed a resolution against CAA.
Syndicate member K K Haneefa who moved the resolution talked about the concerns among academic community about CAA.
He urged the Centre to repeal the Act terming the same as discriminatory and against the secular ethos of the constitution.
The syndicate also decided to host a national cultural festival for promoting communal harmony and social cohesion.
