Vadakara: KPCC president Mullaypally faces criticism from across society following his stand against his party participating in joint protest with CPM on CAA.

KPCC president earlier faced criticism from social media when he announced the stand.

In the latest event, he served show cause notice to Kotayil Radhakrishan, the block Panchayat President here, for participating in a joint protest in Eranmala.

In a protest rally, even archenemies like RMP and CPM found no issues sharing dais.

But KCCP president missed the point of CAA’s threat to secular fabric of the nation, many criticize.

However, at state level both LDF and opposition held many joint programmes protesting CAA.

KSU state president inaugurated the joint protest held at Cheruvanoor in Kozhikode. However, he wasn’t served notice yet, while Radhakrishnan received one, leading to criticism.

Muslim League holds the view that Mullapally’s stand might weaken the secular front but the party was not ready for open criticism.
