Vittal: Kerala authorities have sealed all border roads connecting Karnataka by dumping soil.
Earlier it was Karnataka’s turn when Kerala had burgeoning number of COVID patients, authorities in Karnataka closed border roads with ridges of soil.
The decision of Karnataka, back then, led to controversy after patients from Kerala faced difficulties.
Now that Karnataka, especially Dakshina Kannada, is facing upward curve of covid, Kerala has not waited before closing roads.
During the SSLC exams, the soil at the road in Muguli was cleared to allow students from Kerala studying in Karnataka to appear for exam in Karnataka.
However, 24 hours after clearing the soil, Kerala authorities again blocked the road.
