Thiruvanathapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday denied any knowledge of the circumstance leading to the appointment of gold smuggling case suspect to the position of marketing liaison officer of the Space Park project under the IT Department’s Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Limited (KSITIL).

However, the chief Minister added that he would seek to understand the facts in the matter.

IT Secretary reportedly would take the final call as regards appointments in KSITIL.

Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala and BJP president K Surendran came down heavily on the government.
