Woman dies after walking into the glass door of a bank

Kochi: It did not take long but a rush and hit on the glass door before 43-year-old Beena died.

The freak accident occurred around noon in one of the branches of Bank of Baroda, Perumbavooor on Monday.

Beena hailing from Cheranellore here was in the bank when she suddenly rushed towards the door to get her two-wheeler keys.

She barged into the door shattering the glass and hunkered down bleeding, and others in the bank helped her to the seat where she slumped, showing a video of the incident.

She was still bleeding profusely when she was taken to a hospital. However, she bled to death later.

Perumbavoor police reached the spot and conducted inquest proceedings.
