Sooraj firm in his statement against Ibrahim Kunju

Kochi: Former Public Works Secretary T.O. Sooraj repeated his statement against former minister VK Ibrahim Kunju even in the latest round of quizzing as well.
Vigilance grilled him for three hours at its Kochi office on Tuesday for more details in order to get clarity in the information that had been shared to the Vigilance by Ibrahim Kunju.
Emerging from the office, Sooraj told the media that rupees 8.25 crore had been granted to RDS company in the knowledge of Ibrahim Kunju.
He knows everything regarding this, and there are documents related to it, he said.
When asked whether Ibrahim Kunju had any role in the scam, he said he wouldn’t say so.
Sooraj’s statement gains momentum just as the sleuths are mulling over slapping charges on the former minister.
Earlier, Sooraj in several phases of the grilling stood his ground, saying that the minister had known everything regarding the issue.
Sooraj had spent 66 days behind the bar before he got bail.
