Thiruvananthapuram: A 60-year-old man who spent hours waiting for a bus, during the flash strike called by KSRTC, died on Wednesday.

T. Surendran waited hours at East Fort bus station here before collapsed and was given first aid and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by a fellow passenger.

 His body has been shifted to the morgue of Medical College Hospital.

Surendran was heading for his home and reached the bus station at around 12 noon.

Meanwhile, the flash strike was on against the arrest of three KSRT employees who questioned unauthorised service by a private bus.
