    Malappuram: Leaders of several Muslim organisations urged for collective protest against the Centre’s witch-hunting of minorities while the country is focused on fighting a pandemic.

    The leaders marked their protest in a video conference presided by Muslim League state president Panakkad Hyderali Shihab Thangal.

    The meeting decided to organize joint protests by allying with all those who share the same concerns.  The leaders highlighted the recent events in which the BJP is trying to execute its sectarian agenda. Delhi police is continuing its Muslim hunt.  Slapping of sedition charges against Delhi Minority Commission chairman Dr. Zafarul Islam Khan is the latest instance in the regard,  they pointed out.

    BJP implemented its agenda even after knowing that Safoora Zargar is pregnant at the time of her arrest.  She has been slapped with charges of sedition, religious rivalry, conspiracy for riot among other draconian charges.

    Muslim League national general secretary PK Kunjalikutty MP, Organising Secretary ET Mohammed Basheer MP, Sadique Ali Shihab Thangal, KPA Majeed, Prof. K. Alikutty Musliyar, TP Abdullakoya Madani, MI Abdul Azeez, Sheikh Mohammed Karakunnu, Kadakkal Abdul Azeez Moulavi, CP Umer Sullami, TK Ashraf, Dr. PA Fasal Gafoor and Prof. AK Abdul Hameed spoke.
