Thiruvanthapuram: According to an official source, Income Tax officers on Thursday conducted raids at 42 locations across three states that were reportedly connected to certain well-known Malayalam film producers.

Raids were conducted in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Mumbai in an effort to find "undisclosed foreign investments" made by film makers, including a well-known Malayalam actor who doubles as a producer.

"The raids started at 8 am today. They are still underway," the source told PTI last night.

The homes of actor-producer Prithviraj, producers Antony Perumbavoor, Listin Stephen, and Anto Joseph were raided by various Income Tax Department teams.
