Kochi: The Malayalam actor, who publicly announced his political affiliation with the saffron party, has shared in a Facebook post his excitement about meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was in Kochi as part of his two-day visit to Kerala.

The actor described his 45-minute meeting with PM Modi as the best moment of his life and a dream come true. Mukundan was one of the Malayalam film industry actors present on stage with the PM when he interacted with young people at a program titled 'Yuvam Conclave' in Kochi on Monday, April 24.

The other actors present on stage with PM Modi were Aparna Balamurali, who won the National Award for Best Actress last year, Navya Nair, who recently made a comeback in films, as well as singers Vijay Yesudas and KS Harishankar.

“This is the most electrifying post from this account! 🔥 Thank you, sir, from seeing you afar as a 14-year-old and now finally Meeting you, I’m yet to recover! Mukundan shared photos of himself and Modi conversing, and one of them shows Modi gifting him an idol of Krishna. Mukundan later described this encounter as the best 45 minutes of his life.

Others who were present on the stage were Anil K Antony, Congress leader AK Antony’s son who recently joined the BJP, Bangalore South MP Tejasvi Surya, Kerala BJP chief K Surendran, Minister of State V Muraleedharan, Prakash Javadekar, Suresh Gopi, and other BJP leaders.
