New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh-based CBSE student, Tanya Singh, scored 100 per cent marks in the Class 12 exam, Noida's Yuvakshi Vig this year. Both scored 100 marks each for five subjects, securing 500 marks in total, NDTV reported.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had not announced a merit list this year, which it had discontinued since 2020 after the pandemic broke out and schools were shut down.

Tanya Singh is a student of the Delhi Public School in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr. She aspires to join the Indian Administrative Services. She said she wanted to crack the UPSC exam and become an IAS officer.

She also thanked her teachers and her family for supporting her. "I had great support from my teachers and family. I fixed daily targets and slept only after achieving them."
