The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 results today without a merit list. As the CISCE had cancelled exams for both class and 12, given the second wave of the pandemic in the country, the results are based on an alternate assessment policy.

Unlike previous years, the option of rechecking of ICSE and ISC answer scripts will not be available this year as candidates have been awarded "imputed marks", informed Board Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon on Friday. However, a dispute resolution mechanism is in place for the correction of calculation errors.

While the overall pass percentage is 99.98% for ICSE results, it is 99.76% for ISC class 12 results. In Delhi National Capital Region, ICSE results recorded a 100% pass percentage. Delhi also recorded 99.93% in ISC Class 12 results.

"In the event, a candidate has objections regarding computation of marks in the result, she or he may make a written application to the school, stating the objection in detail along with reasons thereof," the notice read.

"In case the result will need to be altered, the CISCE will notify the Head of the School concerned. This dispute resolution mechanism is only for the correction of calculation errors," Gerry Arathoon said.

Candidates can check their results on the council's official websites; cisce.org or results.cisce.org.
