DMKs Stalin questions NEET PG exams amidst COVID-19 spread

DMK chief MK Stalin on Thursday questioned if it is the 'right' time to conduct NEET PG exams amidst the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate courses is scheduled for April 18th.

Referring to the cancellation of CBSE board exams for class 10 and postponement of exams for class 12, Stalin tweeted, "CBSE exams have now got cancelled due to the second wave of #COVID19. With increasing cases and fatalities, when our doctors are fighting hard against all odds, is this the right time to hold National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for PG courses." Stalin's party DMK is a critic of NEET.
