Riyadh: With the death of 17 more people on Friday, the death toll of Covid affected rose to 5,506 in the Kingdom. While the authorities confirmed 436 new cases.

Out of the total 349,822 Covid19 positive cases reported, 465 more people have recovered, rising the total number of recoveries to 336,533. By this, the percent of recovery rate rose to 96.2.

A total number of 7783 people are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country. However, 736 of them are said to be in critical condition and admitted to intensive care units.

The country registered the highest number of new cases, detecting 69 infections in 24 hours. Madina reported 68 cases, Makkah reported 32, and Yanbu reported 25. While in Buraidah, Al Makhwah, Unayzah, Al Hofuf, Jeddah, Al Ais reported 22, 18, 15, 14, 11, 9 respectively, while Khamis Mushait, Dammam, Riyadh Al Kubra and Tabuk reported 8 cases each.
