The Consulate General of India in Jeddah has suspended its consular service visit in the wake of the new restrictions announced by the Saudi Interior Ministry. Consequently, the scheduled consular tour to Madinah on Friday stands deferred, according to a press statement by the consulate.

The consulate had earlier decided to depute a team to facilitate passport renewal, attestation services and other civic amenities, which is now suspended. The rescheduled consular tours will be announced later accordingly.

Services at the VFS centre at Hail Street, Jeddah have been temporarily suspended and is reduced to those who take appointments.

The consulate stated that service seekers can pre-register from Sunday (February 7) through the web link https://visa.vfsglobal.com/sau/en/ind/login before arriving at the centre for the appointed time.
