Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane

Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane is all set to visit Saudi Arabia. The visit will commence on 13th and 14th of this month and is aimed at enhancing defence cooperation between the two countries. This will mark the first time an Indian army chief visits the kingdom.

He will be in the Saudi capital city and will attend high-level defence and military level meetings during his two-day tour. General Naravane is scheduled to hold discussions with top defence and military officials and will exchange views of the two countries on various issues related to national security and defence.

The Army Chief will also pay a visit to the Headquarters of Royal Saudi Land Force, the Joint Force Command and King Abdul Aziz Military Academy.

The Indian Army chief will address the students and various faculties of Saudi National Defence College.

Naravane is also visiting the UAE and will arrive on Wednesday. He will meet senior military officials there and stay until Thursday.

The visits to Saudi Arabia and the UAE will be labeled as a new historical chapter.
