Video of woman carrying struggling lion in her arms stuns internet

Kuwait City: In a video that has been widely circulated on social media, a woman can be seen daring to carry a struggling lion in her arms, which caused a great deal of panic in a residential area in Kuwait City.
The pet lion, believed to be set loose from the enclosure, leapt into a residential at Sabahiya administration in Kuwait City where it had tousled the situation until a lady, believed to be the owner of the big cat, carried it away in her arms.
In the viral footage, the lion seemed growling, struggling and trying to break free from the woman, who is believed to be the animal's owner, while it was carried down the road.
According to news portal UPI, environmental police said that the woman and her father are the owners of the lion, and officers helped them in its capture. The video gathered 4.5 lakh views on Twitter and many comments.
In a similar incident, visuals of an enormous lion wandering the streets in Kuwait surfaced in 2018. Authorities had captured it using tranquillizer and handed it over to a zoo.
Despite owning exotic pets such as lions, tigers etc., being illegal in Kuwait, the practice is still there. Owners have such influence that they could keep their pets, but keeping predators as pets has been gathering widespread criticism from activists around the globe.
