During the ceremony held on Wednesday at Lulu Hypermarket's regional headquarters on D-Ring Road, the official handover of a QR.100,000 cheque took place, with Mr. Shanavas Padiyath, the Regional Manager of Lulu Group in Qatar, presenting it to Mr. Dheyaa Khaled Alshmare, the Public Relations Coordinator of the QSRSN.

Founded almost two decades ago, the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs began its altruistic journey as a charitable society under the Department of Social Affairs at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. With a mission encompassing social, psychological, educational and physical rehabilitation, the society remains committed to Islamic principles while respecting Qatar's cultural heritage and societal nuances.
