Dammam: Indigo Airlines flight A239, which was scheduled to depart Dammam for Kozhikode at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday, has been delayed due to engine failure.

Distressed passengers are stranded since the flight, which was several hours late, had not yet taken off.

Passengers boarded the plane around 12.30 p.m. after the airline first stated there would be an hour-long delay. However, as the flight has still not taken off even after hours, they have since been allowed to deboard the plane.

According to officials, an engine failure was to blame for the delay.

With the flight delayed indefinitely, passengers, including women and children, are stranded at King Fahd International Airport, Dammam. Airline officials say the problem will be resolved, and the flight will take off soon.
