London: Saudi Press Agency reported that the Saudi Arabian Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef met mining companies and investors in Britain, Arab News reported.

During his visit to the UK, under the theme "Invest in Saudi Arabia", The minister spotlighted the opportunities for investment in mining as well as industrial sectors inside the Kingdom.

The minister and his team reviewed the crucial elements that attract exploration and mining in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, many British companies briefed their successful missions in Saudi Arabia.

The minister explained his country's massive potential for the mining sector by detailing its resources and robust infrastructure.

Further, the minister and his delegation invited attendees to the annual international mining conference in Riyadh.

The Kingdom has an estimated mineral wealth of $1.3 trillion, including stores of phosphates valued at $321 billion, gold at $229 billion, copper at $222 billion and zinc at $138 billion.
