Riyadh: The FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023 unveiled its official mascot, "Haddaf," a talented sand cat hailing from the Kingdom's western sand dunes.

FIFA and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) introduced Haddaf during a launch ceremony in historic Jeddah.

This feline mascot embodies competitiveness in the soccer world, symbolizing Saudi fans' enduring passion for the sport. Haddaf, a skilled striker, reflects the unifying power of football across borders and cultures.

Marco Nazzari, FIFA's Director of Marketing, praised Haddaf as the spirit of the global tournament, emphasizing football's inclusivity.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2023, hosted in Saudi Arabia for the first time from December 12 to 22 in Jeddah, will feature top clubs from around the world, including Manchester City FC, Club León, Al Ahly FC, Urawa Reds, Auckland City FC, Fluminense FC, and Al Ittihad FC.
