US-led airstrikes target Houthi positions in Yemen's Hodeidah

Sana'a: Fresh airstrikes carried out by a warplane from the US-British coalition targeted Houthi military sites in Yemen's port city of Hodeidah on the Red Sea.
The strikes, directed at Houthi military targets in the al-Taif area of the southern Durayhimi district, were confirmed by the Houthi-run al-Masirah TV on Monday. However, specific details regarding the targets were not provided.
The coalition has been conducting airstrikes against Houthi positions since January 12, with the stated objective of weakening Houthi military capabilities and preventing the group from launching missile attacks on ships navigating the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, according to the Xinhua news agency.
