Delhi Pogrom: The Cost of Citizenship

Last year, on February 23, a violent mob ran rampage in Delhi, killing people and destroying properties. After one year of the Delhi pogrom, victims still await justice and compensation. Now a documentary looks back at the "Delhi Pogrom" and how survivors are dealing with the trauma, which is still with in their mind.

The video is produced by Delhi based student-led online website, The Companion. The documentary makers spoke with the survivors of the pogrom, the journalists who saw it all and the lawyers fighting for justice.

The video documents the heart-wrenching stories of victims of the pogrom and follows their resilience and hope in building a new life. It also traces their legal proceedings of the cases
