Srinagar: A day after the historic poll verdict, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday submitted his resignation to Governor N N Vohra.
The onus of government formation lies primarily on BJP and PDP.
"We are quitely waiting to watch what happens," Omar said after submitting resignation to Governor.
The saffron party emerged as the second largest party in the state, only after the regional party PDP.
The BJP said that it would explore all options to form the government in the state.
