New Delhi: Chief Justice of India R M Lodha Saturday said that independence of judiciary is non-negotiable.

He said efforts to take away independence of judiciary would never succeed.

Corruption is the worst form of ailment in thriving democracy, he said.

Don’t do anything which helps corruption in judiciary, Lodha added.

Independence of judiciary leads to confidence in mind of public that it will come to their aid and rescue if any wrong is committed by executive, Chief Justice said.
