New Delhi: The Paris Agreement on climate change clinched on Saturday after 13 days of hard negotiations demonstrates the collective wisdom of world leaders to mitigate the danger, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said.

"Deliberations at CoP21 and Paris Agreement demonstrate the collective wisdom of world leaders to mitigate Climate Change," Modi tweeted.

Modi said that climate change remains a challenge but Paris Agreement demonstrates how every nation rose to the challenge.

World leaders were working towards a solution to mitigate the change in climate, Modi added.

"Outcome of Paris Agreement has no winners or losers. Climate justice has won and we are all working towards a greener future," the prime minister said in his tweet.

The landmark Paris Agreement on climate change was adopted by 196 countries of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change during the 21st Conference of the Parties hosted by France.
