New Delhi: The Congress has complained to the Election Commission against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal for inducing voters to accept bribe, party leader Ajay Maken said Monday.
"Our legal department has complained to the Election Commission about Kejriwal's remark made Jan 18. Not only is the remark irresponsible but is also unconstitutional. Asking people to accept bribe is equal to bribing them," he said.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Sunday appealed to people to "accept money doled out by both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but cast votes for AAP" in the Delhi assembly elections Feb 7.
