New Delhi: Congress leader Digvijaya Singh and his alleged girlfriend, TV journalist Amrita Rai got hitched last month, according to media reports.
Confirming about their marriage, Amrita posted the following message on her Facebook page:
"I would like to share with my friends that I and Digvijaya Singh have married in a solemn ceremony, as per the Hindu rites.”
Last year, some pictures of the Congress leader with Amrita Singh had gone viral on social media platforms.
Following this controversy, Digvijaya had publicly admitted his relationship with Amrita on his Twitter handle.
"I have no hesitation in accepting my relationship with Amrita Rai. She and her husband have already filed a mutual consent divorce case."
