New Delhi: The Brigade Commander of the Uri based army brigade has been "side stepped" by the army for fair, comprehensive and objective inquiry, sources said.

"The Brigade Commander has been "side stepped" for fair, comprehensive and objective inquiry,' an Army source told IANS.

Army sources said that this was a part of the protocol of inquiry.
