Panaji: Putting to rest speculations about Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s “adverse health” and possible “resignation”, Goa BJP president Vinay Tendulkar said on Monday that Parrikar would continue lead the BJP-led coalition government.
“There is a rumour which is being spread that the Chief Minister will resign... this will not happen. He is the CM of the coalition for five years. He will complete that tenure. He will attend work soon,” Mr. Tendulkar said.
Tendulkar also said that the Chief Minister’s health was fine, and after resting for two days as advised by his doctors, Parrikar would meet party officials, ministers and MLAs.
