New Delhi: Actor-turned politician, Kamal Haasan, said on Wednesday that his party Makkal Needhi Maiam would contest 40 seats in the upcoming LS polls.
The fledgling outfit, announced on February 21 last year, would shake the confidence of all parties, he claimed in an interview with the Times of India
The journey of building up the party over the months has not been tedious, instead he enjoyed it. It is easier than making movies, he said.
The party has achieved all its goals especially in bringing the party flag and symbol to rural areas, contrary to predictions that it would take five years to do the job, Kamal said.
