Chennai: Surprising both his fans and rivals alike, actor Prakash Raj on Tuesday tweeted his plan to contest in the coming parliamentary elections
Earlier the actor came down heavily on movie actors entering politics when actor Kamal Haasan declared his plan to join politics.
With his announcement, Prakash Raj will become the third most popular South Indian actor in recent times to step into politics after Rajanikanth and Kamal.
Prakash Raj has long been at the forefront of criticising BJP led NDA government.
