New Delhi: The all-party meeting PM Modi has called on June 19 to discuss mainly the “One nation, one election” idea is likely to have fewer attendance from the Oppostion.
Several regional chieftains including M.K.Stalin, Mamata Banerjee, and N. Chandrababu Naidu have decided to skip the meeting.
Reportedly, Congress may well be skipping the meet as it is opposed to the idea of holding simultaneous elections both LS and state assemblies.
The Left, which is opposing the idea of simultaneous polls, will participate in the meeting.
