New Delhi: Security beefed up at Shaheen Bagh as the area remains tense, even a day after a gunman opened fire at the Anti-CAA protest
On Sunday morning, a large group of locals and protesters gathered here demanding the CAA protesters to vacate the jammed road.
They raised Vande Mataram and the provocative slogans. Delhi Police detained some of those protested against the Shaheen Bagh CAA protest. They had been taken to a different location in buses.
As protesters are still chanting slogans here, Delhi Police and paramilitary forces are deployed in the area.
On Saturday, police took into custody a man who fired two rounds in the air at Shaheen Bagh where the Anti-CAA protest was happening.
