Shimla : The Himachal Pradesh government on Monday said the temples and restaurants in the state will open from June 8 and not from June 1.

A government spokesman told the media they would open after the standard operating procedure and guidelines were issued by the Centre.

Thereafter, a decision would be taken by the state Department of Language, Art and Culture and the Department of Tourism.

Also, the state government allowed the intrastate movement of roadways and private transport buses for the first time during the curfew relaxation timings from Monday onwards.

The Himachal Road Transport Corp (HRTC) resumed bus services with 60 per cent sitting capacity from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, the curfew has been extended in the state till June 30.

After reviewing the situation at a high-level meeting here, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Sunday announced the curfew relaxation from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
