Bengaluru: After having been reportedly pulled up by Prime Minster’s Office, for giving quarantine a miss, Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers D. V. Sadanda Gowda home-quarantined himself.
Talking to ThePrint over phone, the minister said that he had received a call from PMO directing him to be under home quarantine.
However, he said that he had done nothing to violate any law, and termed the whole issue as blown out of proportion.
The opposition Congress has said that the BJP government tweaked the rules to cover up Gowda’s “mistake”.
