New Delhi: Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday said the world cannot be connected without India.

"Very important to connect people in India," said Zuckerberg, who was interacting with students at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) here.

"India is one of the countries where you cannot connect the world without connecting India."

He also said he was very excited to be here and, "the energy here is awesome".
