India has secured another medal at the ongoing Asian Games as Naorem Roshibina Devi qualified for the semi-finals in the Women's 60 kg Wushu (Sanda) category, ensuring herself a bronze medal.

In the quarterfinals, Roshibina Devi convincingly defeated her opponent, Aiman Karshyga of Kazakhstan.

Roshibina Devi had previously won a bronze medal in the same category at the last edition of the Asian Games in Jakarta. She had also achieved a gold medal in the Women's 60 kg Wushu category at the 2019 South Asian Games in Kathmandu-Pokhara.

In Wushu, both semi-finalists are awarded bronze medals. This achievement adds to India's medal tally at the Asian Games, showcasing the country's prowess in various sports disciplines.
