Jasprit Bumrah achieved another landmark Wednesday by picking up 100 wickets while playing Test cricket away from home. The feat was accomplished on Day 4 of the first Test between South Africa and India at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.

The 28-year-old has now taken 105 wickets in 105 overseas tests. Of the 101 foreign wickets he has taken, 101 have come away from home. Bumrah has played 25 Tests, 23 of which have been on the road. He made his Test debut against South Africa in 2018.

The pacer bowled an explosive spell and struck twice in the last 30 minutes to put India in control of the first Test. India is now 6 wickets away from claiming victory.

On Wednesday, in his penultimate delivery of the day, the pacer struck a brilliant yorker that knocked over nightwatchman Keshav Maharaj after dismissing van der Dussen.
