I hope that media will show patience to know and show the reality says Irfan Pathan

Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan said that he hopes that media will show some patience to know and show the reality while sharing his engagements in online media platforms and role of digital media in our day today life.

"I began my active presence on social media many years back to connect with my friends ,well wishers and supporters from all over the world. Initially it was Facebook."

Then platforms like twitter , Instagram , Snapchat etc came along which helped me to voice my opinions, share my schedule updates and leisure time images with a lil bit of creativity and fun " said Pathan

"Yes it can backfire sometimes, there's a chance of misinterpretation" he added.

"But as long as your intentions are genuine and you're not hurting anyone's sentiments you'll have a good time on the digital platforms" he reflected his thoughts

"Online Media plays a major role in our life now . Every single second your phone is flooded with news from different parts of the world."

"But one has to ensure that it's not a baseless piece of information before reacting to it" Pathan added

"Similarly every media has to take that responsibility to ensure what they put out are the real facts."

"It has to be unbiased and not twisted , at the same time it has to be appealing and respect-worthy " Pathan pointed out.

" I wait , take my time to study about an issue, listen to the experts rather than believing anything an online media reports instantly"

He further added that he generally prefer to give time before commenting on anything that just comes.

"I hope the media shows patience sometimes to know and show the reality" he emphasized

"It's fine sometimes , If you're not the first one to report something, as long as you're reporting the real facts and incidents you'll gain respect and succeed." he further added
