Mumbai Indians topped the table with 16 points and a five-game win over the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Just two more games left, they're all heading to the play-offs.

Suryakumar led the 165 MI chase and helped the defending champions meet the target with five balls to spare. He was named Man of the Match for this magnificent batting performance.

Jasprit Bumrah unfurled a bouncer barrier that brought down the high-flying Royal Challengers Bangalore line up with figures 3 to 14, before Suryakumar Yadav created another marvel with a bat, hitting his undefeated 79 runs in 183 while attempting to merely caress the ball. Mumbai Indians chased a total of 164 with five balls to spare but sealed their spot in the IPL 2020 Playoffs.

Bangalore remains second, but their fall of 4 for 7 after Devdutt Padikkal set them up for a huge score left them panicky to make it to the final four.

RCB endured a middle-order collapse as Mumbai rugged back into the game with lead pacer Bumrah doing the damage.

Padikkal started with a boundary over a deep extra cover and then hit Krunal Pandya for the next four, as the RCB took 12 runs in the third over. The two openers continued to play their shots, the highlight of which was Philippe's six over Trent Boult's head in the quarter. However, the leg-spinner Rahul Chahar pulled things back to Mumbai, replacing Philippe, who was stunned by Quinton de Kock.

Virat Kohli (9) went out early as RCB slipped to 95/2, but Padikkal continued his assault on Chahar, smashing six and two fours as RCB finished 16 runs in 15th place.

Mumbai then took four wickets in fast succession, taking AB De Villiers, Shivam Dube, Padikkal and Chris Morris as RCB collapsed to 138/6.

Gurkeerat Mann made a fast 14 but Mumbai Indians, only allowing 35 runs in the last five overs for Bangalore. Mumbai's stay at the top spot and has assured themselves of a play-offs berth.
